Charley Childress Dies In Dallas Hospital
The death of Charles Childress, eleven months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Childress of Lovedale, occurred at the Bradford Hospital for children in Dallas, on Nov. 29, cause of death being pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Lovedale Baptist church at 1:30 Tuesday, Nov. 30, Rev. S W Edge conducting the services, interment in Cemetery Hill, north of Carrollton. The boy is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Childress, two brothers, Billy Jim and Donald; by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Lott; and his grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Childress.
