OBITUARY

MARY NELL CLINE
February 20, 1945 - November 3, 2017

Mary will be remembered as a selfless, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who always had a smile on her face even when times were tough. Being with her family was what she enjoyed most of all and this is where she drew her strength. Her life had many obstacles and she struggled for many years with a devastating illness yet through it all her love and caring for her family remained her focus. She was diagnosed with three different types of cancer starting in 2014 and beat all three and remained cancer free then she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s earlier this year until her passing into heaven. Mary had every right to cry, be mad or even fall into depression. After all her diagnoses, she loved and lived every moment she was given neither hard times nor cancer would rob her of who she truly was. Always graceful, until God called her home. We all loved her deeply and will forever miss her. Mary is preceded in death by her father and mother, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James R. Cline, one son, James D. Cline, one daughter, Teresa Powers, son-in-law, John Powers, grandson, Brandon Powers, one sister, Thelma Smith and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday November 9, 2017 at Metrocrest Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home on Friday November 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park, Carrollton, TX
