OBITUARY   COLLINS, Merle Merle Leone Collins was born in Dallas, Texas to Robert Grady and Ruth Fern Deason on August 5, 1921 and passed to her eternal home on July 13, 2020. She married Alfred Vernon Collins on February 1, 1942, and they enjoyed 56 years together until Vernon's death in 1998. Merle is survived by two children, Grady G. (Jana) Collins and Verna Collins Smith, three grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Merle's family will celebrate her life at a private graveside service. The family is grateful to Mary Pat Smith, RN, and the staff of CC Young for their loving care of Merle to the end of her life.
