COLTHARP, age 68, died, September 23, 2008 at Irving, Texas. Betsy was born, May
23, 1940 in Waco, Texas to David Edgar and Betty King Williams. She graduated
from Texas Tech and pursued a career in teaching at Richfield High School in
Waco from 1963-1982 and Newman Smith High School of Carrollton from 1983-1996.
Betsy enjoyed photography and adored her grandchildren and her dog, Garth.
Preceded in death by her parents David and Betty Williams; husband, Larry David
Coltharp and a sister, Janet Dodd Sulak, she is survived by daughters, Laura
Elizabeth and husband Chad Ewing of Keller and Janet Michelle and husband David
Baxter of Haltom City; grandchildren Lane and Levi. A graveside service will be
Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, TX.
Memorials may be made to the Edna Gladney Foundation, 6300 John Ryan Drive, Ft.
