OBITUARY SARA REMONA
CONNER
SARA REMONA CONNER, 52, died Monday, June 16, 2003 at her home. Funeral Services
will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19 at the Northside Baptist Church in
Carrollton. Burial: Hilltop
Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at the Metrocrest
Funeral Home. Sara was born in Rock Hill, SC on September 20, 1950 the daughter
of W.W. and Sara Hartsell Schmitt. She was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart #1216
where she was a Department Manager. Survivors include her loving husband, Tom
Conner; children, Shannon and Brandon DiMarco, Brandy Flamont; step-children,
Laura Anne Hayes, Tammy Graham, and Mark Conner; 2 daughters-in-law; three
sons-in-law; mother, Sara Schmitt; sisters, Janice York, Marsha Bullock, Sheila
Foy, Karen Watson, and Kathy McCoy, Laura Sommers; brothers, William and Leonard
Schmitt; 15 grandchildren; 14 brothers-in-law; 6 sisters-in-law. Preceded in
death by her father, W.W. Schmitt and granddaughter Laura Marie Hayes. In lieu
of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Vitas Hospice.
