OBITUARY

Double Burial Set for Fire Victims

Double funeral services will be conducted at Frankford Cemetery, near Addison, about ten mils north of Dallas, Sunday at 3 p.m. for Alice Marie Cook, 4, and Betty Ann Cook, 7, victims of a fire that destroyed their home at Lovers Lane and Greenville early Friday morning.
Alice Marie died in the fire, and Betty Ann succumbed to burns at Sparks Clinic Saturday.
They are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Verly D. Cook, The father was seriously burned when he carried Betty Ann, crippled by infantile paralysis, from the burning house. Mrs. Cook took a 9-month-old son, Robert D. Cook, to safety. The mother is suffering from shock and burns. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the McCommas Funeral Home.
