OBITUARY

LITTLE EDGAR EARL COOK DIES LATE SAT. AFTERNOON

Edgar Earl Cook, born in Carrollton, June 13, 1935, died after a short illness at Parkland hospital January 6 at 6:25 and was buried Sunday afternoon, following services at the Union Baptist church here.
He is survived by: His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook; three brothers, Albert Eugene, Billy John and Bobbie Ray; three sisters, Delores, Mary Lou and Beulah Mae; grandfather, J. W. Cook of Addison and a grandmother, Mrs. Ida Wilkerson; three uncles, Truman Cook of Lewisville, Homer Cook of Walnut Hill and Verlie Cook of Vickery; and two aunts, Mrs. Pearlie Haynes of Addison and Mrs. Lillian Gallop, also of Addison.
He had been ill since about two weeks before Christmas, but did not become serious until Saturday. Cause of his death is unknown.
Services were held at 4 Sunday, Rev. Arthur Freeman conducting, and burial was made at Carrollton cemetery.
