WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Padgett-Coonrod
At the parsonage of the Union Baptist church in Carrollton last Saturday
evening at seven o'clock, Miss Helen Padgett and Noble Coonrod were united in
marriage. Rev. C. B. Stanley performing the ceremony in the "presence of a few
friends of the contracting parties.
After the ceremony the happy couple went to Love Field where they had a home
already prepared and nicely furnished for their occupancy.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Padgett of this place and is a
young lady of pleasing personality and good qualities. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. T. Abner Coonrod of Farmers Branch and is a young man of
industrious habits and worthy of the lady he has chosen as his mate. He is
employed at the Southern Potteries at Love Field and for some time has been
preparing the home to which they have gone. That the sunshine of prosperity may
beam upon them is the with of their many friends in the communities from which
the contracting parties come.
