OBITUARY
| COWLEY, SR., GARY CLAYTON of Big Sandy Texas.. Gary was born to
Thomas & Helen Cowley in Texas City on August 3, 1939 & passed away in
Longview, Texas after a lengthy illness on August 26, 2013. He was
married to Charlene Seale Cowley of Big Sandy for 55 years. Gary is
survived by wife, Charlene Cowley; son, Gary Clayton Cowley Jr. of
Ponder, TX; daughter, Mary & husband, Ricky Norman of Lindale; son, BIll
and wife, Sharah Coppedge of Big Sandy; son, Andy & wife, Christi
Coppedge of Dallas; grandchildren, Jamie Tieman, Charlyn Cowley, Charli
Hart, Travis Faurot, Mikey Paye, Jordan Coppedge, Jaydan Coppedge
Miranda Collier, Morgan Collier, Zack Coppedge, Tabitha Freeman and
Samantha Norman; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Stone, Clayton Tieman,
Austin Tieman, Ashley Thompson, Phillip Turner Jr., Abby York, Addy Paye,
Roman Paye, Aston Hart, Cali Hart, McKenzie Harris, Alyssa Murphey,
Kayden Freeman, Andrew Freeman, Sydeny Freeman, Anna Freeman. Preceded
in death by 4 siblings and survived by Kent Cowley, Theodore Cowley,
Warren Cowley, Dale Cowley, Lee Cowley, Jeanine Weaver, Nancy Carpenter
& Karen Rubel as well as a host of extended family, friends & his
beloved side kick and lap buddy Ping Pong. The celebration of life will
take place at Restland Memorial of Garland. The family will receive
friends for a visitation Friday, August 30th, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, followed
by a grave side service at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers, T.W. Cowley III, Daniel
