OBITUARY
Cynthia
Sue Cox
JANUARY 13, 1954 – FEBRUARY 28, 2023
Cynthia Sue Cox, 69, of Rowlett, Texas passed away peacefully February
28, 2023.
Cynthia was born January 13, 1954 to Paul and Veta Melton Pannell in
Jackson, MS.
Cynthia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and
friend. She was well-loved by not only her family and friends but her
workplace and co-workers as well.
Professionally, Cynthia served as Vice President of Field Operations
Accounting for Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors. She worked for this
company for 43 years.
In her spare time, Cynthia enjoyed being outdoors and visiting the
casinos.
When she wasn't enjoying her hobbies she was enjoying spending time with
her family, whom she loved more than anything. Not only was she loving
and accepting to her family, she was the same with everyone she came
across.
Cynthia was loving, encouraging, fun and passionate. Her loyalty toward
her family and friends was strong and relentless. She will be greatly
missed by all whom were blessed to have her in their lives.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Vincent Potts
(Brittany); grandchildren, Zane Potts (Felicity), Aydan Potts, Bradley
Potts, and Braden Potts; great-grandbabies, Andrew Potts, Rickey
Rodriguez, Kayla Miller and one baby boy on the way. She also leaves her
brother, Ted Melton; nephew, Josh Melton and her best friend, Phyllis
Lewis.
A visitation for Cynthia will be held Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM
to 6:00 PM at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35E,
Carrollton, TX 75006. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 6, 2023
from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1511 South Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX
75006. A committal service will occur Monday, March 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM
to 2:00 PM at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX
75006.
