OBITUARY

D. B. Cox

FARMERS BRANCH - D. B. Cox, 50, of 2627 Danny Lane, a painting contractor, died in Dallas Sunday.
A Dallas native, he had been a painting contractor in this area for more than 25 years.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was active in youth work here. He had been an assistant scoutmaster for a number of years and was a Little League baseball team manager, and a longtime worker in the Farmers Branch YMCA.
Survivors: Wife; two sons, Dwayne B. Cox and Jimmy Don Cox of Farmers Branch; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. Bills of Farmers Branch; mother, Mrs. Ben Cox of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Gibhart of Santa Anna, Calf., Mrs. Mamie Londigan of Houston, Mrs. Ethel Rylant of Irving and Mrs. Betty Gilbert of Dallas; three brothers, J. T. Cox of Irving and Alfred Cox and Ben Cox Jr. of Dallas and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were pending late Sunday with the Rhoton Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home in Carrollton.
