OBITUARY Eric Lynn Cox MARCH 23, 1979 – JANUARY 2, 2016 Obituary of Eric Lynn Cox Eric Lynn Cox passed away on January 2, 2015. He was 36 years of age. Eric was born in Freeport, Texas in 1979 to parents, Brenda and Winston Cox. Eric was a beloved son, brother, father and friend. He leaves an indelible mark of love in those that were blessed to have known him. Eric served our country with the U.S. Marines and when he returned, became a law enforcement officer. He proudly served the Farmers Branch, Carrollton, and Frisco Police Departments. Eric is survived by his parents, Winston and Brenda Cox; Sister, Melisa Hightower and her husband, Greg; Daughters, Riley and Rebecca and their mother, Jodell; Paternal Grandfather, Charles Frietsch; Maternal Grandfather, JC Richey; Aunt, Sandra Richey and her daughter; Uncle, Joe Richey and his wife; Nephew and Nieces, Christian Andrews, Rachel Andrews and Sarah Andrews, and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Nona Roberts; Maternal Grandmother, Jimmie Richey; Paternal Grandmother, Dorothy Frietsch and Step-Grandmother, Jo Ann Richey. A visitation will be held from 9a.m. to 10a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at the Harvest Church, 7200 Denton Hwy, Fort Worth, TX. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10a.m. A Graveside service will follow at the Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Donie, TX at 4p.m.
