OBITUARY Mrs. I. H. Cox
Mrs. I. H. Cox, 69, of 11210 Cox Lane, a life-long Dallas resident, died
Saturday in a Dallas hospital after an illness of more than a year.
Born Mary Eleanora Harry, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Harry. An
early day Dallas manufacturer, Harry was owner of the Harry Brick Yard.
She married I. H. Cox here in 1911. He is a retired dairy farmer.
Mrs. Cox was active in work of the Cochran Chapel Methodist Church School and
the Woman's Society of Christian Service at the church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Cochran Chapel Methodist
Church, 9027 Midway Road, with the Rev. Felix R. Kindel officiating. Burial will
be in the Webb Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Howard Joe Cox of Dallas; a daughter , Miss
Joy Cox of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Fortner of Salem, Ore., and Mrs.
Jeanette Harry of Dallas, and two grandchildren.
