DALLAS COUNTY PIONEER WHO DIED RECENTLY

Mrs. Mary Jane Cox, who died at Farmers Branch last week is said to have been related to almost every old-time family in Dallas County. She was the daughter of Isaac D. Webb, the founder of Webb Chapel, one of the pioneer church of Dallas County. In 1862 she was married to Howard Cox. Mrs. Cox was an earnest Christian and a life-long member of the Methodist Church. She was the mother of eleven children, nine of whom are living.
