She was born August 20, 1925 in Forney, Texas to Thomas B. and Nannie Mae Shaw Moore. She married Hubert B. Cozby December 1, 1967 in Dallas. Mrs. Cozby was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coppell and was named Coppell's Woman of the Year in 1986. She is survived by, Husband, Hubert Cozby, Daughter, Joanne Smith of Coppell, Step-daughter, Rita Hanson of Aubrey, Step-son, Bill Cozby of Bellaire, Texas, Brother, Thomas Bernard Moore of Buena Vista, Arkansas. 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2003. at First United Methodist Church in Coppell. Interment followed in Flower Mound Cemetery.
