OBITUARY

CRITCHFIELD
ERIC ANDREW, age 18, died on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 in Dallas as a result of a car accident. He was born on February 11, 1981 in Dallas. Eric was known as a kind and big-hearted young man. Family members and friends will remember his smile and warm personality. Through his life, he pursued educational and athletic excellence. With diverse interests, he played the violin during his elementary and middle school years. He was a member of his middle school and high school's football team Eric was also a member of his high school's wrestling team where he was a two time heavyweight state qualifier. He was a freshman at the University of North Texas and was majoring in Business Administration. Eric is survived by his parents Fred and Claudia and brothers Darren and Mark, and sister-in-law Casey Rister-Critchfield and nephew Cooper Banks. He is also survived by grandmother, Anna Critchfield of Pennsylvania, uncles, Richard, George, James, Ronald, Kent, Larry; aunts, Geraldine, Pauline, Marjorie, Carolyn, Gloria, Judy, Sharon, Georgette, Janice, Karen; great aunts, Gladys, Muriel; great uncle Rod and numerous cousins. The family will hold a visitation at the Rhoton Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, from 6 tp 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 31 at Rhoton Funeral Home at 10 a.m.  Pastor Alan Lynch will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Educational Foundation, 1445 North Perry Road, Carrollton. TX  75006.
