OBITUARY Crocker funeral
CARROLL - Funeral services for Mrs. Abo Crocker of Carrollton, a former
resident of Paris, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rhoton-Weland-Merritt Funeral
Home in Carrollton. Bud Hale, of Colleyville officiated. Burial was made in
Keenan Cemetery at Farmers Branch.
Mrs. Crocker was born May 25, 1907 at Direct, a daughter of John and Josie
Flick. She married Clyde Crocker in 1932. She was a member of the Church of
Christ in Carrollton.
Survivors include two sons, Clyde Crocker, Jr. of Pope Air Force Base, N.C. and
Johnny Crocker of Carrollton; three daughters, Evelyn Self of Paris, Lila Pierce
of Carrollton and Shirley Petty of Colleyville; 13 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Flick of Paris and Clarence Flick of
Arthur City; two sisters, Anna Ledford of Mead, Okla., and Leona Didieu of
Hanford, Calif.
Pallbearers were Wensell Nichols, James Petty, James McBride, Harold Gene
Carson, John McCord and Mr. Rivers.

Services 2 p.m. Saturday, Rhoton-Weiland-Merritt Chapel. Bud Hales and Rev. F.
E. York officiating. Interment
Farmers Branch Cemetery.

OBITUARY MRS. AVO CROCKER
Mrs. Avo Crocker, 69, of Carrollton died July 30, in Grapevine Memorial
Hospital. Burial was in Keenan Cemetery in Farmers Branch.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Petty of Colleyville, Mrs. Lila
Pierce of Carrollton and Mrs. Evelyn Self of Paris; two sons, Clyde Crocker Jr.
of Fayetteville, NC., and Johnny Crocker of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
