Mamie L. Croy
1910-2001
 
Graveside service for Mamie L. Croy, 91, of Decatur will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry Stout will officiate. Burial will follow at Perry Cemetery in Carrollton.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Duard Leatherwood, William Fenter, Terry Young, A.C. Miller and John Tipton. Croy died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, in Decatur.
Born June 6, 1910, in Ferris, she was a retired seamstress. She married the late John Willie Croy Jan. 1, 1928, in Lewisville. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Lewisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 24, 1979, and by two sons, J.W. Croy, Jr. and Jimmy Vess.
She is survived by two daughters, Aaron Ward of Decatur and Patsy Phillips of Whitesboro; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

DECATUR - Mamie L. Croy, 91, a seamstress, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001 at home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday at Perry Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Coker Funeral Home.
Mamie L. Croy was born June 6, 1910 in Ferris. She was married to the late John Willie Croy, who died in 1979. She was a member of the Central Baptist Chruch in Lewisville.
She was preceded in death by two sons, J. W. Croy Jr. and Jimmy Vess.
Survivors: Daughters, Aaron Ward of Decatur and Patsy Phillips of Whitesboro; 10 grand-children; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
