Scott Dornbush officiating under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van. Miss Cruse died June 24, 1999, in a Van nursing home. She was born June 28, 1926, in Dallas, and lived in Van since 1979. She was a retired secretary and caretaker for the elderly. She was a member of Van United Methodist Church. Survivors include a sister, Dorris Geddie, Van; three nieces; two nephews, and an aunt. Pallbearers were Dennis Hamilton, Glenn Geddie, Richard Geddie, Scott Geddie and Terry Cox.
