BERTHA LILIA CRESPO CUBRIA
BERTHA LILIA CRESPO CUBRIA, 84, died peacefully on December 14, 2003 in the company of her family. Born November 21, 1919 in Havana, Cuba, she came to the U.S. in July 1970. She will forever be "the wind beneath our wings". Survived by daughter, Caridad Petrie, son-in-law Ricky, and granddaughter Kristen Conner; sister Juana Crespo; brother Edelberto Crespo and wife Mery; numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and family-in-laws; treasured friends; and many dearly loved "adopted daughters, sons, and grandchildren", as she always called them. She will enjoy eternal life with those that preceded her in death: beloved husband, Humberto Cubria; bothers, Alfredo and Victor Crespo; and sisters Eloina and Eulalia Crespo. A brief graveside memorial will be held on December 19, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Hilltop Cemetery, 1810 N. Perry Road, Carrollton. Pastor Julio Pinto officiating.
