CHILD BURNED IN MOTOR CAR TANK EXPLOSION DIES

Lora Cullins, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Cullins of Farmers Branch, died Thursday night at St. Paul Sanitarium from burns received Wednesday night when a gas tank on a automobile exploded near Letot. The child had gotten out of the car with his father, who was working with the engine, according to the story told at the hospital. A match was struck and the explosion resulted. Burning gasoline was thrown over his face and head and little hope for his recovery was entertained when he was brought to the hospital at 3 o'clock Thursday morning.
The body will be sent by the Ed C. Smith & Bro. Undertaking Company to Farmers Branch for burial Friday afternoon.
The family was returning home from Letot when the tragedy occurred.
