Life Legacy

Iva Ruth Dolly Curtis, 76, of Pilot Point, TX, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Denton, TX. Dolly was born August 18, 1940 in Rosco, Texas to Harvey Beights and Rita Cranfill. She married Freddie Leon Curtis on August 8, 1959 in Farmers Branch, TX.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Freddie of Pilot Point, TX; daughter, Patricia Giusti of Pilot Point, TX; three grandchildren, Marianna Giusti, Zackery Curtis, and Crystal Spradley; one great-granddaughter, Lillie Grace Curtis; and daughter-in-law, Jackie Simms of Garland, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Chris Curtis.

Visitation will be held 7:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey with Rev. Penny Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.

Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
