OBITUARY
 David
Darden
(1950 - 2017)
Glen David Darden, 67, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away, Monday,
October 16, 2017 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held
at 2:30pm, Thursday, October 19 at Northside Baptist Church, 2000 N
Denton Dr, Carrollton, Tx 75006, Brother Mark Dallalio will be
officiating. Burial will follow at
Hilltop Cemetery in
Carrollton. Viewing from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Northside
Baptist Church. David was born March 8, 1950 in Haskell, Texas to James
and Marie Darden. He attended R.L Turner High School where he met and
fell in love with his “high school sweetheart” he then married the
former Billie Yvonne Elliott in Carrollton. In early years David owned
“Double D Fence Co” and David retired from Prescutt Industries as
Quality Control Manager. During the week he enjoyed having ice tea with
his friends at “Moms Café”. He spent a lot of time on his phone texting
and checking on all of his friends and letting them know he was always a
phone call or text away giving advice when needed. He loved spending
time with his family. David is survived by his wife Yvonne Darden of
Carrollton and two daughters, Kim Wilson and her husband James of
Carrollton, TX, Christi Mundie and her husband Mark of Dallas, TX; 6
grandchildren, DJ, Tanner, Cody, Trace, Tori and Tyler. He was preceded
in death by his parents, James and Marie Darden, and his two brothers
Jimmy [probably] and
Johnny.
