OBITUARY
Linda Hooten Davis:
1943-2005
FRITCH - Linda Hooten Davis, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, in
Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors
Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with Leon Green of
Bolton Street Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m.
Thursday in Howard Cemetery, Eastland County, in Desdemona.
Mrs. Davis was born March 8, 1943, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to Paul Skinner
and Elaine Smith Skinner.
Mrs. Davis was active in her church, traveling on mission trips to
Brazil, Korea and Mexico. She was a caring, loving mother, grandmother,
wife and friend who touched many lives.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Tim Hooten of
Brownfield and Scott Hooten of Frisco; a daughter, Sandy Hooten of
Frisco; two sisters, Lou Ann Hill of Keller and Helen Collum of
Desdemona; two stepsons, Dwayne Davis of Vega and Kenneth Todd Davis of
South Carolina; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home. |
