[ first part of article about unrelated accident ]

.... Strangling on his own blood, R. B. Davis, 45, Garland mechanic, died at St. Paul's Hospital Wednesday morning one and one-half hours after his light coupe was crushed by an outbound Dixie Motorcoach at the Richardson highway and the Garland Belt Line road. His death was the 108th from traffic accidents in Dallas County this year.
W. A. Runnels, driver of the bus and his two passengers were uninjured. Davis' car was demolished and the bus' front end was smashed in.
Davis lived in Carrollton and drove to Garland each day to work at the Holmes-Ogle Auto Parts Company. Deputies Ted Hinton and Bob Alcorn could find no witnesses to the accident.
