State Accidents

.... Strangling on his own blood, R. B. Davis, 45, Garland mechanic, died
at St. Paul's Hospital Wednesday morning one and one-half hours after his light
coupe was crushed by an outbound Dixie Motorcoach at the Richardson highway and
the Garland Belt Line road. His death was the 108th from traffic accidents in
Dallas County this year.
W. A. Runnels, driver of the bus and his two passengers were uninjured. Davis'
car was demolished and the bus' front end was smashed in.
Davis lived in Carrollton and drove to Garland each day to work at the
Holmes-Ogle Auto Parts Company. Deputies Ted Hinton and Bob Alcorn could find no
witnesses to the accident.
