OBITUARY Mrs. J. C. Davis
The funeral of Mrs. J. C. Davis, 85, mother of R. C.
Clem, 932 Fitzhugh Ave., was held Monday in Carrollton at First Christian Church
with burial in Hilltop Memorial Park there.
Mrs. Davis, who died Saturday in Dallas, was a native of Garland, member of an
early day Dallas County family. She was the last surviving member of Carrollton
Christian Church.
Surviving are three children, Ralph H. Davis, Carrollton, and Zola Mae Kroeger
of Harlingen, besides Mrs. Clem here; also 13 other descendants.

Error in Name
Error was made in the funeral notice Tuesday of Mrs. J. C. Davis of Carrollton,
who was the mother of Mrs. A. W. Clem of 932 Fitzhugh Ave. here, not of Mrs. R.
C. Clem, as reported.
Mrs. Davis, 85, who died Saturday, was buried Monday at Carrollton, survivors
including three children, Ralph H. Davis, Carrollton; Mrs. Zola Mae Kroeger,
Harlingen, and Mrs. Dorothy Clem, wife of A. W. Clem, Paris.
