Robert Sidney Dearing, resident of Grapevine, passed away in a Decatur hospital Tuesday, Survivors; Wife, mother, Mrs. Alice Dearing, Fort Worth, 1 daughter, Mrs. Pauline Thomason, Grapevine; 4 sons, Clark, Coppell; Warren, Grapevine; Aubrey, Irving; R. F. Smithfield; 1 sister, Mrs. C. L. Croxdale, Fort Worth; 2 brothers, Alvis Dearing, Fort Worth; Oliver Dearing, Los Angeles, Cal., 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Services 2 p.m. Thursday. Memorial Baptist Church. Arrangements J. T. Lucus Funeral Home Grapevine.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Grapevine Pair to Observe 50th Wedding Anniversary
GRAPEVINE, Aug. 13 (Spl) Mr. and Mrs. R. Sidney Dearing will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday with open house at their home here.
They have four sons, Warren Dearing of Grapevine, Clark Dearing of Coppell, Aubrey Dearing of Irving and R. F. Dearing of Smithfield, and a daughter, Mrs. Joe Thompson of Grapevine. There are 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

OBITUARY OF HIS WIFE

MARY JEWEL DEARING

ARLINGTON - Mary Jewel Dearing, 89, a resident of Arlington, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at her home.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dayspring Church, 507 W. Road to Six Flags, Arlington. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Dr. Larry Hester will officiate.  Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Born Sept. 15, 1920, in Henrietta to Dora Bell and William Evans, she married Sidney Aubrey Dearing in 1943. A resident of Irving for 56 years, she was a member of Dayspring Church in Arlington.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents and seven siblings.

SURVIVORS: Mary is survived by son, Gerald Dearing; daughters, Pauline and husband, Hap Michener, Vickie and husband, Jeff Kromer, Wanda and husband, Ray Hart; 15 grandchildren; numerous great0-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
