OBITUARY

JACK ERNEST DEATON JR., Passed away April 8, 2008, in Carrollton at the age of 81. He was born Aug. 28, 1926 in Childress. He was a Master Mason and a member of the Drum & Bugle Corp of the Hella Shrine in Garland. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kay Deaton of Carrollton; son, James E. Deaton of Houston; daughter, Linda Nelson of Carrollton; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at New Life Funeral Home, 1835 Pearl St., Carrollton, TX 75006. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at New Life Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
