BIOGRAPHY

Hattie and Guy Dennis were prominent, lifelong Addison residents. Hattie was the daughter of Addison pioneer S. S. Noell.  Guy was also raised in the Addison and attended the first wood-frame, one room school that was located near present-day Midway and Belt Line roads. Guy served for decades as a trustee of the Addison Scho9ol, and was a member of the White Rock Masonic Lodge. The Dennis family farm was sold in the 1950s to make room for the Addison Airport

 

OBITUARY

Mrs. Hattie Dennis, Addison Resident, Dies at Age of 58

Mrs. Hattie Lillian Dennis, 58, a lifelong resident of Addison, died Friday in a Dallas hospital. She was a charter member of the Addison Methodist Church, active in women's work in the church and held a life membership in the Woman's Society of Christian Service.
The Rev. Gene Miller and the Rev. Ed Seale will conduct funeral services at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Addison Methodist Church. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Milton Noell, Millard Noell, Marion Stark, Robert Stark, Noell Rather and Chester Watson.
