John A. Dennis

Funeral services for John A. Dennis, 70, of San Francisco, Calif., a Texas resident for some 40 years, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Restland Funeral  Home Memorial Chapel, Greenville & Valley View.  Dr. W. Harrison Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
Mr. Dennis died Saturday in San Francisco after a long illness.
Born in Farmer Branch, he attended Polytechnical Preparatory College in Fort Worth and was graduated from Baylor University in Waco. He lived in Chicago from 1929 to 1942, when he moved to San Francisco. He was a retired pharmacist.
Mr. Dennis was a member of Pacific Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Islam Temple in San Francisco.
Survivors are his wife; a son, John A. Dennis Jr. of Fort Worth; a brother, Walter L. Dennis of Dallas, and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James O. LeBeau, Guy Dennis, Glen D. Graveley, J. Freeman Clark, Arthur W. Harris and Gilbert Lehman.
