"The best topkick we've ever had," say men in a Twenty-Seventh Air Transport Group squadron about First Sgt. Louis E. Dennis, whose wife, Mrs. Josephine Dennis, and 2-year-old daughter, Sandra Jean, live on Route 5, Dallas. Before entering the service in August, 1940, Sergeant Dennis attended Carrollton, High School. Overseas since May 1944, he holds two Battle Stars for participation in the campaigns of northern France and Germany. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Dennis of Addison.

OBITUARY

DENNIS
LOUIS E. 82, resident of Lewisville, TX passed away Feb 23, 2000. Born in Addison, TX in Aug 1917. Attended Metropolitan Business College after graduating from Carrollton High School, Carrollton, TX. Joined the US Air Corp Aug 1940 and was honorably discharged in Sept 1945. Employed by Dallas Fire Dept. for 20 years, retiring in 1972. A loving and generous man, he is survived by wife of 57 years, Josephine Dennis, son James Dennis, daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Charles Freeman, grandson, Matt Freeman, great-granddaughter, Lauren Freeman, sister, Mary Frances Truman, nephews, nieces and many friends. Funeral services 11 AM, Friday, Feb 25, 2000, visitation will start at 10AM before the service. Interment will follow at Frankford Cemetery.
