Robert
Dickson
February 7, 1963 - January 2, 2016On the morning of January 2,
2016, Robert passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA as a result of
natural causes. Robert was 52 years old. Robert Dickson was born in
Dallas, TX on February 7, 1963. He was the second of the three sons of
Jeanie Smith. Robert played little league baseball in Farmers Branch, TX
and later graduated from R. L. Turner high school in Carrollton, TX.
Robert attended college at the University of North Texas (formerly North
Texas State University). Robert held many very interesting jobs which
afforded him the opportunity to meet many friends and travel around the
country. As a young man Robert worked in construction and also traveled
with a crew across the Midwest operating heavy machinery and harvesting
wheat crops. He later worked at many popular Denton and Dallas area
restaurants including the Denton Country Club, The Wild Turkey, the
Sheraton Hotel and others. Robert then worked as a satellite and cable
installation technician for various companies in different parts of the
country and later worked as office manager for these types of
businesses. Robert also served his country for two years in the U.S.
National Guard where he attained the rank of Sergeant. In his spare time
Robert enjoyed working with his hands. He would often help others with
painting projects, car maintenance and home repairs. Robert is survived
by his two daughters and their families Savannah, James, Ricky, Kasin
and Stetson Self, Tiffany, Jonathan, Jaylen, Kendellynn and Rozlyn
Baldwin, his parents Jeanie and Don Smith, his six brothers and their
families Don, Erin and Ariel Dickson, Stephen Dickson, Jeanifer, Ron,
Sophia and Peyton Amedeo and Jacqualyn Tin, Scott and Emma Smith, Greg
Smith, Chris, Susan, Houston, Hayden and Katherine Smith and David,
Patty, Jordan and Ben Smith. |
