OBITUARY
 
DOZIER
WILLIAM STANLEY was born April 20, 1904 in Madden, Mississippi and passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2004. He loved a long and good life. The Dozier's came to Texas in 1920 and to Hebron in 1926 farming the land around the Hebron area. Stanley was Mayor of Hebron when it incorporated in 1961 and served as mayor until 1997. He was a member of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge #201 for over 65 years. He was also a member of the Lewisville Chapter #935 Order of Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel of 55 years and a sister, Imogene Morris. Stanley is survived by his daughters and sons-in-laws, Dianne and George Culpepper, Sherry and Jimmy Luman, Shirley and Mike Shearin and son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Candy Dozier, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and nephew Charles Morris and wife, Betty. A funeral service will be held 3:00PM, Monday, February 16, 2004 in the First Baptist Church Hebron. Interment will follow in Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Sunday evening at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville. The family request memorials made to Heartland Hospice, 8700 Stemmons Freeway, Ste#144, Dallas, TX 75247 or the First Baptist Church Hebron, 3000 Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75007.
