Howard Dunn Named High School Principal
CARROLLTON, Texas - Howard O. Dunn, formerly of L. D. Bell High School in the
Hurst-Euless Independent School District, has been appointed principal of R. L.
Turner High School in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School District.
Formerly of Oklahoma, where he was a coach and teacher, Dunn coached as Bell
High for one year and served five years as a junior high principal and four
years as high school principal.

HOWARD DUNN RESIGNS AS R.L.T. PRINCIPAL
Howard O. Dunn, principal of R. L. Turner High School, has submitted his
resignation effective at the close of the school year, June 30. He has
been principal the past two years and has built an outstanding spirit in the
school.
Starting the 1966-67 school year, this spirit contributed greatly in helping the
Lions go to semi-state in football competition.
Mr. Dunn's personality has endeared him to many people and he has the best
wishes of the district in his future work.
Applications for Mr. Dunn's replacement may be made to the Superintendent of
