WEDDING
MISS BETTY RHEA ROACH, BRIDE-ELECT, TO BE HONORED
Mrs. Perry Whitlock and Miss Cathryn Maddox will honor Miss Betty Rhea
Roach, birde-to-be, with a luncheon at the Century Room of the Adolphus Hotel,
Dallas, Saturday, June 5. Miss Roach will be married to Jack Harold Duwe of
Lewisville on June 2. The table will be decorated with a centerpiece of
spring flowers.
Places will be marked for the following; Mesdames Esta Wood, mother of the
bride-elect, Fred Duwe, Bill Duwe, Howard Stackard, R. B. Collinsworth, Alva
Millaway, Jay Bailey, Buddy Pernell, Harold Chaney, A. H. Knost, the honoree and
hostesses.

OBITUARY
Betty Rhea Duwe
LEWISVILLE, Texas - Betty Rhea Duwe, 69, died Monday in Hot Springs, Ark.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville,
Texas, with Dr. Lawrence R. Hitchens officiating. burial will be at Hilltop
Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas, under the direction of Mulkey-Mason Funeral
Home.
Mrs. Duwe was born March 9, 1927, in Cumby, Texas. She graduated from Carrollton
High School and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a former
resident of Wichita Falls and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Monte Duwe of Wichita Falls; three half-sisters,
Dorothy Sublett and Alva Millaway, both of Carrollton, and Pauline Marcom of
Farmers Branch, Texas and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at the funeral home in
Lewisville. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the
American Cancer Society.
