OBITUARY

Mrs. Lula Echols

Monday funeral rites have been set for Mrs. Lula Blanche Echols, a farmers Branch resident 75 years before she moved to Dallas two years ago.
The Rev. John G. Moore and the Rev. R. A. Stacy will conduct 11:30 a.m. services in Thoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home at Carrollton, and burial will be in the Farmers Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Echols, 83, 513 Hollywood, died Friday. She was a native of Fair Play, Mo., a member of the Farmers Branch Baptist Church and a charter member of the Farmers Branch chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are three brothers, Z. H. McDowell, F. R. McDowell and John L. McDowell; and a sister, Mrs. Opal Sampley. All are of Dallas.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lula  Blanche  Echols, 82, of 513 Hollywood, a Dallas County resident 76 years, will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Rhoten Weiland-Merritt Funeral Chapel in Carrollton. Burial will be in Farmers Branch Cemetery.

A native of Missouri, Mrs. Echols was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and of the First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch.
