OBITUARY
40 Year Resident to be buried at Farmers
Branch
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary
Katherine Echols, 70, a resident of Farmers Branch for forty years, will be held
at 4 p.m. Monday at the Farmers Branch Baptist Church. The Rev. C. W. Hudson
will officiate. Burial will be in
Farmers Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Echols died Saturday in
Wichita Falls.
She was born in Rockdale, Milam
County in 1878 and moved to Farmers Branch in 1902. For the past seven years
she had lived in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church
there.
She is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. C. R. (Ann) Kientz, Fort Worth; four brothers, George Leslie of McAlester,
Okla.; L. W. Leslie of Dallas, Ted Leslie of Bay City, Matagorda County and E.
E. Leslie of Fort Worth; two sisters,
Mrs. Troy Dennis of Dallas and
Mrs. D. D. Dennis of Farmers Branch; a grandson (Wallace Maberry), and two
great-grandsons.
