OBITUARY
 
Margaret "Peggy" Edwards passed away on Feb 5, 2019 in Dallas, TX due to complications of cancer. She was 78 and affectionately known by loved ones as Peggy Dee. She was born on June 10, 1940, in Chicago, IL to William and Margaret Atkins.

She attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX where she met lifelong friends and twin sisters, Mimi and Martha Hardy of Dallas, TX. Their friendship continued as Peggy became a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines headquartered in Dallas, TX.

Peggy retired from Uddeholm steel company in 1994. Her love of reading novels and passionate following of current events carried over into her love family and friends alike. She loved movies with Elizabeth Taylor being her favorite actress.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Kim Davis; sons, Drew and Roddy D'Arcy; 4 grandchildren, her sister, Mary Patt (Atkins0 Kennedy; and her brother, Billy Atkins.

A funeral Mass will take place at Mary Immaculate chruch in Farmers Branch, TX on February 1, 2019 at noon. All are welcome to attend. Flowers can be sent to Merit Memorial Funeral, 12801 Stemmons Freeway *803, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. Please schedule delivery for Monday before 11:00 AM.
