OBITUARY
PATRICIA BRANDT FERNANDEZ, born on February 22, 1952, was born to eternal life
on March 2, 2005. She graduated from Mary Immaculate Catholic School (1964), R.
L. Turner High School (1972) [1970], University of Dallas (1974) and received her law
degree from Southern Methodist University (1980). She married Richard Fernandez
on May 24, 1980 and worked with him at their law firm, Fernandez and Fernandez.
She was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell where she
served in the choir, Family Life and religious education ministries. She is
survived by her husband, Rick, children Tony, Diana, Andy and Michael Fernandez
of Coppell, parents Charles and Phyllis Brandt of Farmers Branch, sisters Beth
Barron of Edmond Oklahoma, Jeanne Yargicoglu of Naperville, Illinois, Elaine
Teves of The Colony, Beverly Grimley of Carrollton, Rita Ford of Coppell, and
Laura Nelson of Grapevine, brothers, C.J. Brandt of Austin, Tom Brandt of
Dallas, and Ed Brandt of Flower Mound. Her many nieces, nephews, extended family
and dear friends will forever cherish her warmth, love and generosity. A rosary
will said on Friday at 7 pm at The Cenacle at St. Ann Center in Coppell. A
funeral mass will be on Saturday at 2 pm at St. Ann's Catholic Church in
Coppell. Pall bearers will be Ernie Fernandez, Kirk Barron, Atalay Yargicoglu,
Chris Teves, John Grimley, Scott Ford, and Cyle Nelson. Memorials may be sent to
Southwest Diabetic Foundation or your favorite charity. Special thanks to Dr.
Michael Savin and the staff at Medical City Hospital. Patty was patient, Patty
was kind, she bore all things, believed all things, hoped all things and endured
all things. |
