ARTICLE BILLY F. FLETCHER ARRIVES IN
SAN DIEGO FROM PACIFIC
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FHTNC) - Destroyer Squadron 15 was scheduled to arrive
here from the Far East May 1, the Fleet Home Town News Center disclosed Monday.
Billy F. Fletcher, seaman, USN, of 1304 Denton Drive, Carrollton, is serving
aboard the destroyer USS Yarnall.
The ships included in the squadron are the destroyers USS Boyd, USS McDermut,
USS Tingey, USS Yarnall, and USS Wedderburn.
The squadron has made three tours of duty in the Far East patrolling the waters
of Korea, Japan, and Formosa.
