OBITUARY
Rites Conducted for J. D. Foster
Funeral services for J. D. Foster, 70, who died Thursday night, December
11 at his home in Farmers Branch were held Saturday, December 13 at the Church
of Christ in Farmers Branch. Burial was in the
Keenan Cemetery.
Mr. Foster, a retired farmer, was born in Tennessee in 1877, and moved
with his parents to Dallas County at the age of nine where he has resided ever
since.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Foster; two sons, James H.
Foster of Dallas and George C. Foster of Farmers Branch; one daughter, Mrs. Mary
Sonnenburg of Carrollton; two granddaughters, Barbara Kathryn and Dian
Sonnenburg of Carrollton; one brother, W. T. Foster, of Los Angeles, Calif., and
one sister, Mrs. Sallie Gault of Glen Rose, Texas.

J. D. Foster Rites
Planned Funeral services for James D. Foster, 70, retired farmer
of Farmers Branch, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Farmers Branch
Christian Church.
He died Thursday night at his home. Born in Tennessee, Foster moved to Dallas
County at the age of 9.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, James H. Foster, Dallas, and George C. Foster,
Farmers Branch, and a daughter, Mrs. L. D. Sonneburg, Carrollton.
Burial will be in the Farmers Branch
Cemetery.
