OBITUARY

FRENCH
TERESA LYNN (Goodson).  Teresa passed from this life to the next on Thursday, November 18th, at the age of 41 in Carrollton. She was born on September 18, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas to Wayne and Gloria French. A transplanted Texan, she attended Carrollton schools graduating from Newman Smith High School in 1981. She would soon marry and give birth to the love of her life, Ashley Nicole.  Teresa was an accomplished legal secretary having worked for many of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Dallas. She was a highly organized perfectionist, which made for a great legal, secretary. Teresa's friends and family remember her remarkable ability to see the best in other people. No matter how much was there to cover up the good, Teresa was able to see past all the junk to that seed of Good that is in everyone. Her genuine humility and ability to laugh at herself made her a joy to be around regardless of the circumstance. We will all miss her greatly. Teresa is survived by her parents, Wayne and Gloria French; her daughter, Ashley Goodson; grandmother, Donna French; aunts and uncles, Marilyn Clark, Helen Faber, Donna Ford, Helen Parker, Alice Picha, Janie Stuart, Laura Tennis, Mike Tennis, Barbara Vulliamy, and Glenda and Tom Williams, along with many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 21st, 7-8:30 pm at Sparkman/Dickey Funeral Home, 17501 Dallas Parkway in Dallas. Memorial service will be Monday, November 22nd at 2:00pm at Sparkman/Dickey.
