Dr. Conrad Garcia, M.D., age 62, of The Colony, passed away Friday, May
22, 2015, in Dallas surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 12, 1953 in Havana, Cuba to Edward Pedro Garcia and
Josefina Santana Garcia. Conrad married Deborah Lynn Blankenship on
November 17, 1979 in Lewisville. He was a longtime member of Garden
Ridge Church of Christ in Lewisville and a current member of The Branch
Church in Carrollton. Dr. Garcia was in family practice for many years
here in the Lewisville and Flower Mound area.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lynn; children, Theresa
Brittain, Anthony Conrad Garcia, Emily Lauren Garcia and Katie Nicole
Garcia and grandchildren, Micah, Madison, Kennedy, Bailey, Cassidy and
Cole. Conrad was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother,
Edward S. Garcia.
A service to celebrate Conrad's life will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May
26, 2015, at Garden Ridge Church of Christ. The family requests memorial
contributions to be made to St. Paul Medical Foundation, 5323 Harry
Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas. Donation should state in memory of Conrad
Garcia/memo on check should state: Heart/Lung Transplant. Contributions
may also be made to Christ Haven, 4200 Keller Road, Fort Worth, Texas
