OBITUARY

T. J. Garrison
NOVEMBER 2, 1946 – JULY 25, 2019

T.J. Garrison, age 72, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Thursday July 25, 2019.
He was born November 2, 1946 in Denton, Texas to Lucille Coffey and Ernest J. Garrison. He graduated in 1965 From R.L. Turner High School. T.J. honorably served his country in the United States Army. T.J. joined the Carrollton Fire Department in 1969, Chief at this time was Douglas. He retired with the rank as Captain in 1999 with 30 years of service. After retiring he went on to enjoy the things he loved most, fishing, hunting and his grandchildren. T.J. Garrison was a devoted husband, father and a loving papaw.

T.J. is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Garrison; son Joe Garrison and wife Sarah; daughter Jill Davis and husband Michael; and son Jason Garrison; grandchildren; Dalton Garrison; Ellie Davis; Toby Davis and sibling Sissy Harrison.

T.J. was preceded in death by; father Ernest J. Garrison and mother Lucille Garrison; sibling Bill Ray Garrison.

A visitation for T.J. will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South I-35e, Carrollton, Texas, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
