OBITUARY
GENUNG,
Tiffany Leigh Addicks On Monday, March 8, 2021, Tiffany Leigh Addicks
Genung (41) departed this world to join her Savior, Jesus Christ, whom
she loved with all of her heart, in her new heavenly home. Born in
Chickasha, Oklahoma, on December 27, 1979, Tiffany is survived by her
four sons, Eli (18), Nate (15), Jeremy (11), and Levi (9); by her
parents, James and Bronwyn Addicks, and Pat and Kurt Nelson and; by her
grandmother, Alice Nelson; by Eli's dad, Toby Duncan, and Eli's
grandparents, Tracey and David Duncan; as well as by her nine siblings
and their families: Brandon Addicks, Virginia Addicks Bates, Anton
Nelson, Steve Nelson, Olya Nelson, Christina McLaren, Alyssa Nelson,
Lauren Nelson, and Alan Cole, along with many other aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Her brother, Brett Cole,
and her nephew, Jackson Bates welcomed Tiffany into heaven along with
other grandparents and extended family members. Tiffany attended Newman
Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas, and Lubbock Christian
University. She was most recently employed as a healthcare worker in
Terrell, Texas. Tiffany was consumed with her passionate love for Jesus
and for her four sons. Her life was marked by generosity of heart and
spirit. She would spend her whole paycheck on her boys "just because she
could"! Tiffany constantly exhibited the love of Jesus by selflessly
loving and serving both friends and strangers alike, without hesitation
or care for herself. As a result, Tiffany always considered others while
not taking thought to her own needs. She would boldly and joyfully
announce to friends and strangers alike, "remember, Jesus loves you!"
Whenever someone mentioned Jesus, Tiffany would simply glow!! When
Tiffany entered a room, she lit it up with her overflowing joy as well
as her quirky and humorous off-the-wall comments. Tiffany was a beacon
of light and joy, and spent every moment of every day thinking of ways
to make her family and her children smileeven giving special nicknames
to each of her children. Tiffany often called Eli "Schmeli," Nate "Nater
Taters," Jeremy "Jerbears," and Levi she called "Leviticus!" More than
anything in life, Tiffany loved Jesus and loved to teach her boys about
His love for them! She was an amazing and precious person who brightened
this dark world and changed the lives around her for good. The world was
a better place with Tiffany in it! Absent Tiffany, there is a deep chasm
in our family, a hole in our hearts, that Tiffany once filled that no
one else will ever fill. Our family deeply appreciates your countless
expressions of generosity, love and concern, as well as your prayers for
comfort, especially for Eli, Nate, Jeremy and Levi, as they learn to
live life without their beloved mom, all the while knowing that she is
in heaven with her Savior, Jesus Christ. A celebration of life service
for Tiffany will be held Saturday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Bible
Church, 11306 Inwood Road, Dallas. A casual reception will follow the
service in the church commons. The service will also be live-streamed at
11:00 a.m. CST at https://bit.ly/3vgd9Ic In lieu of flowers, gifts may
be given to help fund Tiffany's four sons' college education at https://hhmin.org/charities/tiffany-genung-childrens-fund |
