MICHAEL WAYNE, age 52 of Carrollton, Texas passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 29 2002. Funeral will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Carrollton. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Burial will be at Perry Cemetery [Hilltop Cemetery] in Carrollton, Texas. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michael W. Germany CFB Educational Foundation, 1445 N. Perry Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Mike was born in Dallas, Texas on October 16, 1950. Mike was very well known in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area working for the CFBISD for 15 years and coaching youth and high school sports for 30 years. Mike met his wife Cathy at R. L. Turner High School in 1967 and has been together ever since. Mike and Cathy married on November 28, 1970. Mike is survived by his wife, two sons, Jim and Terry, daughter in laws Crissie and Michelle. Grandchildren Cody, Aubrey, Kali, Gabbie and Lexie. He is survived by father and mother in law Gene and Connie McClain, Farmers Branch, brother-in-law Richard McClain and wife Cheryl, Lake Dallas, TX. Sister in law Jeanne Thompson and husband Lewie and Lorraine Germany. Tow aunts Lucille Garrison and Ruby Upchurch. He had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Germany, father Emmett Germany and brother James Emmett Germany.
