Bert R. Glidewell
CARROLLTON - Bert Ray Glidewell, 58, of 1811 Kirby, a contractor, died here Wednesday.
A lifetime resident of Carrollton, he attended Carrollton public schools. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife: a son, Jerry R. Glidewell of  Carrollton; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Hacker of Farmers Branch and Miss Janyce Glidewell of Carrollton; four brothers, Ernest Glidewell of Amarillo, Ben Glidewell of Carrollton and Walter Glidewell and Willie Glidewell of  Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Grace Hausler of Fort Worth, and three grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Restland Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
