OBITUARY
Myrna Golman
Golman, Myrna E. Passed away suddenly on
November 9, 2009. Myrna was a loving daughter, sister, wife,
mother and grandmother as well as a true friend to many. She
was born in Brooklyn, NY on 11/29/1937. She graduated from
Carrollton High School in Carrollton, TX.
She then went on to secretarial college. After graduating,
she started working at the Scottish Rite Hospital.
Throughout her working life, she held many administrative
positions including Jewish Federation and Shearith Israel.
Myrna and Albert married on November 16, 1958. They had
their first daughter Alece on September 20, 1959 and their
second daughter Siiri on January 24, 1966. Myrna and Albert
moved several times mostly in Texas making numerous friends
along the way. In 1967 they returned to Dallas and stayed
here until 1989 when they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Myrna loved Arizona and made a great many friends through
her mahjong games. Albert passed away in 1991. Myrna stayed
in Arizona until 1998 and then moved back to Dallas to be
close to her family. She spent the next 11 years taking care
of her mother and 5 grandchildren and playing mah jong. She
had a beautiful voice and was a gifted artist. And even
though she was not in the best of health the past few years,
she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She
will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her
husband Albert Golman, parents Ruth and Alexander Goldstein.
She is survived by her daughter Alece Bleiler and husband
Richard and their children Jared, Seth and Aiden; daughter
Siiri Corby and husband Victor and their children Arye and
Skylar; brother Lionel Goldstein and his family; brother
Stuart Goldstein and Family, sister in law Cecile Rosenzweig
and brother in law Al David and family; and a great many
other relatives and friends. Services will be held at
Sparkman Hillcrest, Wednesday at 2:00 PM with internment
immediately following at Shearith Israel Cemetery.
