OBITUARY GOOD
MARY REEDER, 92, Farmers Branch, Texas. Born August 8, 1904 in Dallas County and
died June 6, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband
Truett Good, and parents Joe and Elizabeth
Reeder; early settlers of the Farmers Branch area. Mary was a life-long member
of the Webb Chapel United Methodist Church where she served over the years in
various roles; pianist, member of the choice; and Sunday school teacher.
She was also an active member of the Farmers Branch Order of the Eastern Star
No. 687 for 74 years. In the Eastern Star, she has served as pianist,
worthy-matron, and grand officer. She was a member of Farmers Branch Woman's
Club. Mary is survived by her sisters, Georgia Davis, and Sue Crumley;
sister-in-law Mamie Reeder; all of Farmers Branch; and several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 1997 10:30a.m. at the
WEBB CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Farmers Branch. Rev. Joe D. Shafer
officiating. Burial will be in
Keenan Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Good, John Ganci, Joe Perry, Bruce
Natchke, Charles Wright and Scott Shafer. Family Visitation will be held Sunday,
June 8, 1997 at Rhoton Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may
be directed to the Webb Chapel United Methodist Chruch.
