GRATKE
Samuel David, 212 South  Irving Heights, Irving. Survived by wife, Juliette Gratke, Irving; sons, William Gratke, Irving, Phillip Gratke, Pennsylvania, Stephen Gratke, Arlington; daughters, Mrs. Saretta Hicks, New York, Mrs Juilette Kriehn, Dallas; brothers, Joe Gratke, Iowa, Paul Gratke, Wisconsin; sisters, Hannah Blanchard, Iowa, Sarah Puffett, Iowa; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services 3:00 p.m., Thursday, First Presbyterian Church, Irving. Rev. Robin Moffat officiating. Interment Oak Grove. Pallbearers: Dale B. Davis, J. J. Pearce, Asa Leger, Frank Knickerbocker, Dan Matkin, Neil English, Dr. Barrett Thompson, Chet Gibbs, Howard Grubbs, Joe Ben Hunsaker. Honorary pallbearers: Birgil Honor Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America. Memorials may be made to Camping Fund of Circle Ten Council of Boy Scouts of America.

OBITUARY

SAMMUEL GRATKE

IRVING - Funeral services for Sammuel David Gratke, 79, of 212 South Irving Heights Dr., who retired four years ago as a school teacher at R. L. Turner High School, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial  Gardens.
Gratke died here Monday. A native o Strawberry Point, Iowa, Gratke had been an Irving resident since 1947. An active volunteer worker in the Boy Scouts for 30 years, he was a Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow, a member of the National Association of Retired Persons and First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juliett, three sons and two daughters.
